baby Milk Snake
Beautiful little guy. Very calm also...had no trouble getting it on this small stick so I could get a good shot of it...rather than in the grass by our stream.

Sunrise over the Delaware at flood stage
The previous morning I was wishing I had my camera...so I woke up early this morning to get out and catch the sun while the fog off the river was at it's best. Pretty happy with the results.

Misty Morning (infrared)
We have a misty morning here on Friday. Made for some really spectacular shots of the sun rising through the trees.

Blue crab & Seaweed
Managed to catch a real beauty in the crab trap. She was with eggs so we let her go.

Sophia chomping a tomato
I might just have to sell my 24-70 f/2.8. I popped my old 50mm f/1.4 on for a picnic and fireworks event at Tinicum park and can't be more happy with the results.
Color and clarity are simply amazing. I only had to remove one small spec from Sophia's cheek. Otherwise this is straight from the camera.

eee-sah big bug!
As my daughter Sophia would say. Found this a.m. in the pool. Was hoping the whole time it wasn't going to spring to life as I handled it. Has some decent size pincers in the front although they are closed in this picture.
Looks to be a Giant Stag Beetle, perhaps a female judging by the size of the abdomen and smaller pincers than a male.

mini daf's
Shot and processed this one some time ago and re-found it. Thought it was cool and realized I never posted it.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Icicles at sunset
One of my 1st shots with the 5D MkII. Very impressed with IQ and how effective noise reduction is on the RAW images. Looking forward to more opportunities to shoot with this body.

Istanbul, Straight of Bosphorus
Another group of photos from my archive. This time Istanbul Turkey during the Spring if I recall correctly. These were taken with a Fuji F601 Zoom...now retired from my gear list. Colors and IQ was quite good for that camera as you can see.

Came across a group of photos I snapped last summer while at a conference in Switzerland. These were taken with my Leica D-Lux 3 and post-processed in LR3.

New Hardware!!!!
OK, who doesn't like getting new gear? Seriously? Anyone? Arriving to the New Hope studio this week will be a 24-70 f/2.8L and a slightly used EOS 5D Mark II. Can't wait!

Walking among the wonderland
Had a chance to take a walk this a.m. before the sun and wind took its toll on the beauty of the overnight snow.
