Panama, Bocas Del Toro & Bluff Beach
Recently on our vacation in Panama we went to
Bluff Beach on Isla Colon just North of Bocas Del Toro. It’s not really
a swimmers beach. And even though there are big waves, they crash too
quickly for the surfer crowd.
What was amazing was seeing the “evidence” of a sea turtle coming to shore and laying its eggs. Apparently something got to a few of the eggs, perhaps a dog by the look of the other tracks around the area. Given that sea turtles lay hundreds of eggs at a time perhaps this minor loss to an animal will have little impact.

Now that I think about it...I really liked that small leather couch as much as she liked my warm lap.
