Winter Storm w/ Ice

We had a lovely winter snow yesterday which turned into sleet and freezing rain last night. A few more at the Flickr location.

It's a winter wonderland here in the Northeast US.

Just had an exhausting but FUN X-Mass

Huge bash at the GF's last night...I'm still recovering. And then X-mass festivities with family today. Some snaps are up in the attached gallery.

Our 1st good snow of the season...

We had nearly 1 foot of snow Saturday evening. Made for some beautiful scenery the next day. Gallery is up for your enjoyment.

A nice surprise

What is a bit disappointing is that Vienna is quite a bit more cold than when I was here early in February...must be the "zee Germans". No shortage of warm and friendly people however.

The nice surprise is that we had a wonderful snow storm yesterday morning and it made for some very nice scenery. Unfortunately I had to work and could only snap a few pictures before leaving my hotel.

Got the goods!

Picked up the 70-200 f/2.8L this morning. Snapped a few of the wintery weather at our Apple Tree house on my way home. Very happy with this lens. It's performing like new.
