Ice Flows and Forms

Walked along the towpath with my girlfriend
and daughter on Sunday. Very, very cold. But there were some nice features of
ice and water to snap. Two examples.

Feral Russian Blue...

Had not seen this guy before. Was very skittish
and could see me and my daughter moving around inside the house. Wish I would
have had a longer lens. Beautiful cat though.

Pilated Woodpecker

My girlfriend and I were out walking in the woods near her house here in New Hope and we spotted him. It's a male. And it was big. I was lucky to get this shot as it was only resting on trees for about 2 seconds before flying to the next. They are so large and fast they must have large ranges.

Just had an exhausting but FUN X-Mass

Huge bash at the GF's last night...I'm still recovering. And then X-mass festivities with family today. Some snaps are up in the attached gallery.

Our 1st good snow of the season...

We had nearly 1 foot of snow Saturday evening. Made for some beautiful scenery the next day. Gallery is up for your enjoyment.
